Hargeysa,December 15,2016(Sl-Times)-A top Jiboutian security delegation led by Interior minister Hassan Burhan arrived in Somaliland’s capital Hargeysa on Wednesday to discuss counter-terrorism and border security issues with the their counterparts here.Members of the Jiboutian delegation include the country’s Police Comissioner Abdillahi Abdi and head of the anti-terrorism agency Dahir Elmi.

Although the two sides in a brief statement to the press expressed their mutual interest in strengthening  their cooperation not only with regard to security but also other matters as well,however the UK government is uderstood to have recently provided about 3 million dollars in support of a project intended to formalize and enhance security collaboration between Somaliland and Jibouti particularly in the area of counter-terrorism and cross border migration.
